· All Plant equipment is to be maintained and operated safely, adhering
to best engineering and metallurgical practices to achieve reliability
and plant efficiency.
· Lifting equipment supplied by and utilized by the Contractor
personnel will be adequate, sufficient, and rigorously managed to
ensure proper maintenance and certification fit for use.
· Electrical – Maintenance of electrical systems is from the point of
supply. This includes all maintenance and legal inspections for the
Plant equipment. From the incoming bus bars in the 525V MCC,
including the maintenance of the MCC LV switchgear, distribution
boards, UPS systems, lighting, and small power transformer.
· All maintenance and legal inspections for all mechanical / electrical
and processing equipment at the Plant as defined within the battery
limits will be done by Contractor and proof provided to the Principal
as per required/defined intervals.
· Plant production reports are to be produced daily for distribution by
the Contractor to Principal. Two hourly product and feed sample
analysis are to be reported to the control room by the Laboratory to
ensure efficient plant control. Hourly tonnage figures will be
distributed to the control room and key personnel.
· Schedule and manage of maintenance shutdowns.
· Planned/Preventative Maintenance of the Plant equipment will be
conducted by the Contractor. Contractor to provide a detailed
maintenance plan.
· Plant personnel are to be competent to comply with the efficient
operation of the process.
